Project's purposes

DataStyler is a WYSYWYG slyle editor for dynamic reports. DataStyler report designer allows to create or modify XSL stylesheets quickly and easily using intuitive friendly drag-n-drop interface, without special programming knowledge and coding. Layout editing and formatting (borders, fonts, margins, etc.) are similar to well known Microsoft Word features.

System requirements

Before installing the DataStyler application, the following list of software must be installed:

• Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Vista, or 7
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (will be installed if connection to internet is available)
• Java v 1.6.x or later
• RenderX XEPWin 3.0 (part of the DataStyler installation package; installed automatically)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.x. or later
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or later

Docking window interface The application gives an opportunity to use docking window interface. You can dock and undock application's windows to create an optimal work configuration. Easy-To-Use Layout Designer You can easily design your document using DataStyler. Just drag and drop data directly to the layout designer and see the exact results in fast preview. High-Speed Document Generation DataStyler generates a specific stylesheet to render your designed document. With this stylesheet XEP formatter provides high speed of the PDF (or PostScript) document generation. Output formats The resulting stylesheet can be used by XEP Engine or VDPMill to generate multiple output formats, such as PDF, AFP, Microsoft XPS, PPML, SVG and HTML.
